Participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements. There are plenty of accommodation options to select depending on your budget or preferable location. Those who will decide to stay in the hotel the Symposium takes place and will directly book with the hotel, may take advantage of the following special rates. Please make your reservations as soon as possible (after 30 April 2020 we cannot guarantee availability).

* Includes all taxes. An extra 4 €/day/room municipal tax applies which should be paid on arrival. For participants who will need to arrive earlier or depart later than those dates, same rates apply based on availability.
** Registered Symposium participants will be handed vouchers for the lunch of July 1st, July 2nd, July 3rd all coffee breaks and for the Gala dinner of July 2nd. For accompanying persons or any other additional meals you may wish to pre-book the price of 18€ per meal/person applies, water and refreshments are included. Alcoholic drinks (Beer, Wine, ..) are not included in the price.
*** Thraki Palace Thalasso & Wellness Spa, an entire area of 2,400 m², is successfully operating. The facility’s trained personnel will provide visitors with high quality of wellness and relaxation treatments. So, regarding the above rates, we inform you that they include the following services:
- Free of charge use of fitness center with the constant supervision of an experienced trainer.
- Free of charge use of the Thermal Spa Suite, which includes 4 Experience Showers, Caldarium, Bio Sauna, Aroma Steam Bath, Ice Fountain and Kneipp baths.
- Free of charge provision of a locker in the changing rooms along with a bathrobe, slippers and a towel.
- 15% discount on all other services.

Travel Information
Alexandroupolis has its own airport “Dimocritus” (coded as AXD). It is located 20 min from the city centre and it is connected with international airport Athens (short local flight). Airport is served by local buses. The stop is in front of the terminal building and the route to the city center takes approximately 20 minutes. Alternative ways are by taxi or car rental. A) Bus service
There is a bus service from the airport to the town of Alexandroupolis and then to the venue (Thraki Palace). For more information please visit: www.astikoktel.gr
Remarks:
- Airport to Alexandroupolis city center (Eletherias Square): there are scheduled routes but there is also a route just 20’ after each arrival at the airport.
- Then change to another bus (Line 1: towards Hospital or Line 3: towards Makri),
- For each trip you need a ticket that can purchase these tickets from the cafeteria in the airport.
B) Taxi service:
- The taxi statıon is next to the airport exit. Telephone number for taxi (24h): 0030 25510 33500.
Remark:
Most participants will be traveling in the same 3-4 flights. Check while waiting at the Athens airport departure gates for familiar faces. Two or three of you may share the same taxi.
There are 2 options:
A) Rent a car (around 1 hour and 20 minutes)
B) Public transports (it is not recommended due to many changes)
How to get Ramada Plaza Hotel from the Thessaloniki airport (SKG)?
- By bus (No 78, 78A, 78N) you reach the intercity coach station called KTEL (http://www.ktelmacedonia.gr/en/home/list/), there is a frequent direct service from the airport to the station, it takes about 1 hour for time table see here (https://www.oasth.gr/en/).
- In the main coach station book with KTEL EVROS (ΚΤΕΛ ΕΒΡΟΥ) to Alexandroupolis (http://ktelmacedonia.gr/en/routes/list/tid=8)
- Express journey with duration 3:45'.
- Let the driver know your destination beforehand (Ramada Plaza Thraki), so you get off before the end of the service line.
